DOBBS UNIVERSITY CENTER - Einstein Bagel to be replaced by Dunkin Donuts
Others
As of 5/18/12 Einstein Bagel will be closed abd replaced with a new Dunkin Donuts. Dunkin will be performing renovations to the existing space and expect to open around 6/23/12. Exact schedule has yet to be determined - stay tuned for more information.

Woodruff Circle Realignment
Road Closure
Work will begin on May 15th on the Realignment Project of Woodruff Circle with the project moving forward in phases. As the contractor closes an area to pedestrian or vehicles, detours around the work area will be clearly marked. Frequent project updates will be posted on this website to identify changes in the work areas and the resultant impact upon pedestrians and vehicles.

Oxford College Quandrangle Construction

Oxford College has worked to remove vehicular traffic from the center of campus and make the Oxford Quadrangle more pedestrian friendly and beautiful. Oxford College and Emory's Campus Services will relocate the vehicles and parking in front of Seney Hall and the Eady Center Admissions Office to complete the transformation of the center of campus to pedestrian-only access.

This project completes the removal of vehicular access to the quadrangle area. Vehicular access to the Oxford College quad is currently restricted to Hamill Street directly in front of Candler Hall, Language Hall, Seney Hall, the Eady Center, and Williams Gymnasium. The proposed work will:
  • Eliminate the Hamill Street access and parking spaces on the quad.
  • Eliminate gravel parking spaces on Haygood Street East of the tennis courts.
  • Create new spaces adjacent to the existing parking area south of Seney Hall.
  • Restripe the parking area adjacent to the Humanities Building and Pierce Hall for accessible parking spaces.
  • Construct a new driveway to West Moore Street adjacent to the tennis courts.

Fire Pump Testing - Campus Wide
Others

Starting Thursday, May 17th and continuing every Saturday until June 23, Campus Services will perform fire pump testing at multiple buildings on campus. These tests create large flows of water outside the buildings and the full flow portion of the tests are performed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Police are on site as needed to assist with traffic control. These tests are an important part of Emory's fire safety and we thank you for your patience.
