Road Closure
Loop B Splice Kit Replacement

Several high voltage electrical connections throughout the Emory electrical distribution system are being upgraded over the next 3-4 months as part of the routine maintenance of Emory equipment. This work will be performed in various manholes located throughout campus. Most of the work will not be in traffic lanes. For those manholes located in areas where traffic flow may be affected, appropriate traffic control measures will be taken. Disruption in traffic flow will be kept to a minimum. Electrical service will not be interrupted.

Eagle Row between the Peavine Parking Deck and Asbury Circle will be reduced to one traffic lane on Tuesday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 14th between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Work will be performed in some of the manholes located on Eagle Row and traffic will be diverted around the work sites as necessary.

Waterproofing installation will also be going on at this time. Once all of the waterproofing is installed and tested, pavers will be installed. This task will take place between April 20th and May 20, 2008. Then the west side will open to traffic, and the east side work will begin.
